Introduction
As counselors at Williams Middle School we are here to help children with any social, emotional, or academic problems that are preventing them from learning. This is done through individual and group counseling, intervention meetings, and referrals to community resources.
Confidentiality is always kept between the student and the counselor regarding any social or emotional problems they are experiencing. Confidentiality will be broken if the student gives permission or if the student is at risk for harming themselves or others, or if someone is harming them.
In addition to helping children learn, we also create their schedules and consult/collaborate with teachers, administrators, & parents, as well as respond to emergency situations or a school crisis.
A student may see his/her counselor by filling out a counselor request slip in the office or also at the request of a parent, administrator, staff member or friend.
We hope you find our website helpful and informative. Don't miss the additional categories that can be found under the 'More' tab including, Parent resources, Grades, Just for Students, AVID, High School & College/Career Readiness, and Important Dates.
Please contact us about how we can help your child perform his/her best at Williams Middle School.
